And finally, Sony officially announced new member in Xperia Family. That’s Sony Xperia S. This handset is the first Xperia phone that does not use “Ericsson” as the name. Like its predecessor, Sony Xperia S will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In the next, Sony Xperia S will get update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Here is the detail of the handset.

Talking about the specification Sony Xperia S can be classified as high end android phone. Sony Xperia S will have so powerful performance. This handset is powered by 1.5GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor and combined with 1GB of RAM, and also GPU Adreno 220. For storage, Xperia S is equipped with 32GB internal storage. Surely, this spec will give so good performance for Sony Xperia S.

The other specs of Sony Xperia S is 4.3 inch LED-backlit LCD touchscreen display and supported by Scrath-resistance glass and Sony BRAVIA Engine. This technology will ensure the display looks so clear and bright. Not only that, Sony Xperia S is also powered by 12 megapixels rear facing camera that allows us to take photo with 4000×3000 pixels of resolution and capture and video 1080p@30fps.
